bringing joy through cut paper

We don’t always stop to think about the astounding experience of being here. Of being together. Of being alive. Or maybe we forget. I want my work to be a physical presence, a stand, a reminder, of the love and inspiration of this life.

What is it that you love? What gives you inspiration? What causes you to rise up? To feel calm? To remember your inner strength?

Special places... Memorable nights... A perfect day… Special seasons… A moment in time. Who were you with? What did you see? How did you feel?

Reach out to me about what inspires you to discuss how we can make an heirloom art piece for you and generations to come.

private commissions

While I am always exploring new themes for art on my own, some of my work is created for private collectors. This is really cool. For me, it’s like writing down a special story, only the story expresses itself through art. It’s truly a collaboration, and the end result is so rewarding.

Commissioning me to create a personal work, just for you, is a simple process. I’ve done it many times and love doing it. With open communication all along the way, we work through steps from ideas and rough sketches to the end the project. No surprises, open dialog, and both of us committed to producing a very special, personal piece. We will figure out what you love and what inspires you, and we’ll capture it together.

A portrait or scene in cut paper can take anywhere from two weeks to a month to produce. The amount of time it takes to finish your commission piece depends on how much other work I have scheduled at the time. If you need a portrait by a specific date I'll do my best to make it work. Let’s get started!
